Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro has awarded a grant to FaithAction International House for $2500.

The mission of FaithAction International House is to mobilize diverse faith and cultural communities around shared values in an effort to build a welcoming, united and just community for all people. FaithAction envisions an equitable and inclusive community: many cultures and faiths - one united people. We are people from the United States and around the world working together, serving each other in a center for cross-cultural and interfaith learning, service and advocacy.  

From FaithAction Executive Director David Fraccaro:

FaithAction is thrilled to partner with leaders in our local Nepalese and Bhutanese communities on the United Dashain Festival.  I have been inspired by the work that has gone into creating this festival, and believe it will stand as a wonderful model of multicultural community building led by immigrant and refugee groups into the future.

Please come out to the festival to experience the wonderful gifts both our Nepalese and Bhutanese neighbors offer all of us in Greensboro!
