Visitors who would like to know more about our countries and new experiences here in North Carolina will be most welcomed by our cultural ambassadors eager to introduce you to our communities and share our traditions.
United Dashain is about bringing family and community together. Dashain is the greatest festival of the Nepalese diaspora which includes Bhutanese and Nepalese people living here in the Triad. It is celebrated in Nepal and all over the world by people of Nepalese origin. Dashain brings all people together whether they are near or far from their homeland and unites them as one. It is a holiday of reconciliation and forgiveness. It enables families and communities to resolve past disagreements and differences and to end conflicts. Dashain represents the victory of good over evil.
